| User Reviews | Nice camera reviewer: jpn_00 rating: 5 pros: Fantastic zoom and great lcd display cons: bit bulkier due to larger optical lense
This camera is one of the best cameras i have seen on the market. It has many features that a new user to digital cameras can grow into, it also has some nice features for the most seasoned of camera uses.
The menus are a bit more complex than most of the kodak or cannon cameras, but if u read the manual they become fairly self explanatory.
The battery life is bad on standard batteries, but really who uses anything but rechargable batteries in cameras any longer. Recharable batteries fix most of this issue.
As a retailer of the item and as a user I would say this rate as a must look at camera for any buyer who is looking for nice zoom, great pictures, and and fairly easy to use functions.

10X optical rocks reviewer: Yahoo! Shopping User rating: 5 pros: 28-280 35mm equivalent lens is amazing... cons: proprietary battery
I've been shooting digital for over 12 years (bought a Casio 640/480 VGA when they first came out) and this is my 7th digital camera (i've owned Casio, Nikon, Sony and Canon). I sold my 35mm digital because, although it took great pics, it was just too big to carry everywhere, so I found that I seldom had a camera with me when I wanted one. This fits the bill perfectly. Although not as flexible as a full featured 35 nor as thin and light as the newest pocket cameras, it does all I need as an amateur photographer, and fits in your pocket or fanny pack. The lens is amazing; the 7 megapixel image size allows cropping or printing of larger sized photos with no loss of image quality. I wish this thing ran on AA batteries, as I can find those anywhere I travel. But then, perhaps they would have had to make the camera larger. As it is, I bought an extra battery and just carry it with me. Battery life is actually pretty good. A camera is only good if you have it with you to take pics -- this camera is the best overall digital I have owned. For the money, there's nothing else out there with the size and capabilites this one posesses.

GREAT CAMERA!!! reviewer: kandeezkornz rating: 5 pros: ALL! cons: NONE
I bought this camera about 6 months ago, haven't had a problem yet. I have taken it on several trips and used it in all different conditions, the pictures are ALWAYS great! I would recommend it to anyone!

Excellent super-zoom compact point & shoot reviewer: x6gramps rating: 5 pros: Excellent Leika lens, fantastic zoom, good sturdy feel, excellent videos cons: Cannot zoom in video mode
Excellent features in an affordable compact point and shoot. Love the 28mm wide angle and 10x zoom capability. Videos are excellent, with length of videos limited only by size of memory card (audio quality only fair). Unfortunately, you cannot zoom in video mode, unlike the earlier TZ1 model. Not the perfect camera for the perfectionist, but a great camera for the average photographer or as a second camera for the more advanced photographer!

Can't Praise this Camera Enough reviewer: fanaticpress rating: 5 pros: Easy to use. Can take it everywhere. Great images. cons: Non
I use this camera as a take-it-everywhere camera. I have a Digital SLR as well but this is the one to take when you are busy doing other things and see that shot that has to be taken. And you'll get it! At first I was concerned that shots up close were blown out by the flash. But if you turn the exposure down, you can still do it! With just a little reading of the manual (I believe in doing that.)you'll master all situations in no time! With the 10X zoom and the 3" LCD...no other camera can come close for the price. The images look great for a 7MB point and shot camera. I highly recommend it.

good all around travel camera reviewer: Yahoo! Shopping User rating: 4 pros: macro, image quality cons: indoor shots - weak flash
This camera is a nice little travel camera and takes very good quality pictures. The macro mode is great. Videos have been good (no zoom). The lens starts wider than most at 28 mm and also extends longer than most at 280mm which works great for travel. The main complaint I have has been that inside it has not done well with flash photos at a distance (inside a classroom). Interestingly enough it has taken very nice indoor shots with flash forced off - there may sometimes be motion blur from people (kid) movement but the stabilizers did an amazing job of counteracting camera shake at low light levels. I also selected this camera as it has a really good "grip" on it and it is easier to take one handed shots than many small P&S cameras. I also always shoot in "vivid" mode - which seems fairly life like in color.

Great Point and Shoot reviewer: perrylr21 rating: 5 pros: So far, everything is great, love the 3" viewfinder cons: None so far
I've had this camera for about a month. I bought it and immediately took it on a trip. I didn't have any problems operating it at all without reading the instructions.
The pictures are great quality and the 10X zoom is AWESOME for a small camera. I bought an extra battery for my trip, but the first battery lasted 5 days of taking pictures on and off......a whole lot longer than my previous Kodak camera.
This is a great small camera for the non-professional.
Great Camera!!!

TZ3K reviewer: Yahoo! Shopping User rating: 1 pros: What Pros? Blurry photos are useless. cons: AWFUL focusing
How can you say anything good about a camera that refuses to focus properly? I have not taken an unblurry photo since the day I bought this camera. You press the shutter button. The lense starts moving. You watch on the screen as the picture moves PAST the point of focus and stops! It never stops at the point of focus! I would've sent it back to the distributor had I not been sick and missed the 15 day cutoff.Panasonic customer support never responded to any of my requests for help.

Pretty good, but flaws reviewer: evoo73 rating: 4 pros: Very good w/ sunsets, very good outdoors, still shots and zoom cons: inside low lit areas there are bad pictures and not good w/ action shots
its good for the price and a nice camera, some flaws i guess i would recommend it unless you are looking to take action shots

Not a good choice reviewer: nrs_11 rating: 1 pros: Easy to use; Standard features common to any point and shoot camera cons: Worst Indoor Image Quality; Sports mode photographs are heavily blur; Low Battery life
I need a camera with atleast 10X optical zoom after I was destroyed my Kodak camera by dropping it in water. Body is light; Menu navigation is easy; LCD is good; Picture quality in broad day light is excellent. The Battery life is extremely low; Image quality is horrible for indoor pictures. I am searching for another good one with 12X now.
